Long armature linear synchronous motors with segmented power supply are often used in acceleration systems such as high-speed maglev transportation. The power supply mode adopts a parallel power supply with fewer switching switches, but because the neutral point of the motor is independent, the circuit changes during the switching process, which will cause current fluctuations and long switching process time. A switching strategy that combines segmented neutral connection and current zero-crossing shutdown is proposed to solve this power supply problem. The mathematical model is established, and the correctness of the proposed strategy is verified by experiments.
