Abstract
This paper profoundly analyzes the operating characteristics of the low-temperature superconducting maglev train, including the traction characteristics of the ironless superconducting linear synchronous motor (LSM), the suspension characteristics of the electrodynamic suspension (EDS) system, and the coupling relationship between the two systems. Based on the analysis of air gap magnetic field distribution of the LSM and EDS system, the expression of mutual inductance between the main components of the two systems is calculated. The equivalent circuit model of the EDS system is established, and the analytical solution of the main electromagnetic forces of the two systems is derived. Construct a 3-D finite element (FEM) model of the low-temperature superconducting maglev train, further analyze the traction system and suspension system characteristics, and verify the analytical calculation results. This paper provides a theoretical reference for researching the critical technology of low-temperature superconducting high-speed maglev train.
