Invited Talk 6:

Special Linear Motor Technology Applied in Pulse Power Area

With the rapid development of electromagnetic launch technology, the executive linear motor plays an increasingly important role in high-speed and large-load linear motion. In order to fully explore and enhance the potential of linear motors in the field of electromagnetic launch, based on the author’s design experience and research achievement on linear motors for electromagnetic launch, this speech summarizes the related technologies of linear motors for electromagnetic launch. The speech includes four parts:

 

(1) The working principle, structure type and technical characteristics of linear motors for electromagnetic launch.

(2) The research status of linear motors for electromagnetic launch at home and abroad.

(3) The key technologies of linear motors for electromagnetic launch.

(4) The development trend and application prospect of linear motors for electromagnetic launch.

 

 

Junyong Lu is currently a professor with the National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Vessel Integrated Power System, Naval University of Engineering, Wuhan, China. He was supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He is the Head of National Innovation Team in Key Areas.

 

Professor Lu has been engaged in electromagnetic launch technology research for a long time and has made a series of original achievements in the field of high-speed electromagnetic launch linear motor. He held 75 invention patents and published 1 academic monograph, as well as more than 130 papers indexed by SCI/EI. Professor Lu won the National “Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand” Talent Project. He was awarded Ho Leung Ho Lee Innovation Award, Qiushi Outstanding Youth Practical Engineering Award and other awards. He enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council.
