Abstract
In this paper, a topology of linear switched reluctance motor with segmental mover (LSRMSM) is investigated and optimized. The novelty of LSRMSM is the segmental mover structure, which makes it suitable for high-thrust linear propulsion. In virtue of the design of experiment (DOE) method and the Kriging (KG) model, the calculation amount of the model is significantly minimized. At the same time, the optimal motor model is obtained through the global search method. The simulation results of finite element analysis (FEA) are delivered to validate the feasibility of the optimization scheme. For exemplification, a prototype is manufactured and implemented to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the optimization scheme.
Keywords
