• Sadeghi Siavash Hyperloop Transportation Technologies

     Siavash Sadeghi (SMIEEE’12), has B.Sc. , M.Sc. and PhD all in the field of Electical Power Engineering. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of electric motor design and control. He is the technical lead for the propulsion and levitation team at HyperloopTT. Prior to that, he held senior and technical lead engineering positions at General Motors Advanced Technology Center, Capstone Turbine, and Honeywell Aerospace with broad experience in different propulsion topologies, power classes, and applications. Siavash is holding 8 published and pending patents and is the author and co-author of over 25 journals and conference papers devoted to electric motor drive area. 

    He was the winner of the 2014 IEEE-Southern California outstanding Engineer Award.
